Brian Bennett founded the first and original Bangkok Film Festival in 1999.   This new international event took place in Bangkok's first class multi-story mall with a 5 screen cinema!   Before Bangkok had stand-alone cinemas only.   The audience was hungry for international indie films and the Bangkok Film Festival launched the film festival world in Thailand.
